Personally I have no issue with the lesbian sex scene. Apparently Theron says that she wanted her character to be a lesbian so they could have more representation in film. Good on her.

At the same time the marketing hasn't presented her as an actual lesbian because it also shows she had a fling with a male agent who was killed.

True, but I'm guessing that she may "bi" at least. The marketing has made it pretty clear that she's not interested in men anymore or at least as of the film, hence why she rejects McAvoy so-called "affection" for her, in the clips we've seen.

Expected CinemaScore for Atomic Blonde. It's going to play well with older audiences, but the people expecting another John Wick probably won't leave the theater happy.

Those are awful numbers for the new openers as well as for the holdovers. Pretty bad Friday increases apart from Girls Trip and Dunkirk to some extent by the looks of it

Dunkirk increases 50%  (which is pretty good in the end)

Girls Trip doubled

SMH 39%

Apes 45%

DM3 22%

Valerian 36%

Girls Trip had a good increase, unless 6.3 is a typo.

Also, the weather here in the Northeast is miserable, not sure if that may have had an impact.

Big improvement for GT.

EM looking at $23-25m and AB $18-19m

DK: $26-27m

SM: $13.5m with about a 40% drop

Apes: $10m - another 50% drop

Valerian: $6- $6.5m

The Friday increases for the holdovers were quite good considering Thur was flat or negligible for several of them

How is AB a B with that rt score and how is emoji s B with THAT rt score

For Emoji people were warned, people that still bought a ticket for a movie like that really don't mind.

Other way around for AB.
