Kind of a strange bit of trivia here. Dunkirk increasing 266 theaters is rather bizarre considering Inception lost 247 theaters on third weekend. Inception of course showed much stronger WOM during the first two weeks.

What came out in Inception's third weekend? Maybe the new releases then had more to offer than this weekend's slate.

Next weekend:

Annabelle: Creation- 3,400+

The Glass Castle- 1,400

The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature- TBA

The Glass Castle is shaping it to be a dump. Low theater count + a bare minimum marketing campaign. Reviews will probably be mediocre too. Wouldn't be surprised by a mid-single digit opening or slightly lower next weekend.
