Kind of a strange bit of trivia here. Dunkirk increasing 266 theaters is rather bizarre considering Inception lost 247 theaters on third weekend. Inception of course showed much stronger WOM during the first two weeks.

The Glass Castle is shaping it to be a dump. Low theater count + a bare minimum marketing campaign. Reviews will probably be mediocre too. Wouldn't be surprised by a mid-single digit opening or slightly lower next weekend.

Can Dunkirk reach $200 million Dom after the theater expansion? It has 4014 theaters in its 3rd weekend. Big releases like Rogue One get that many theaters when they open.
