Considering there's no news on 23JS despite the performance of 22JS, I doubt Kingsman3 gets made.

Wont be sure about that actually. If Kingsman makes four times its budget worldwide I think it can get one more film for a trilogy

one good thing is that lack of competition besides Blade Runner could help Kingsman

I thought I'd go see IT again esp now that I have moviepass but I have no desire to. speaking of MP, how long until they increase the $10 monthly? you know they'll do it. a few years ago I had it for $25/month and before I knew it they increased it to $40.

I give it a year tops. They're already having demand issues.

Deadline using a Friday of 15.1 (compared to 15.325 official estimates) and Sat of 14.7. With 39.0 weekend the Sunday comes to 9.2

15.1 + 14.7 + 9.2 (-37.4%) = 39.0

Article now says " 20th Century Fox and MARV’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle made an estimated $14.7M on Saturday, which if you back out the $3.4M out of Friday’s $15.3M, technically means yesterday was the pic’s biggest business day."

So it is at 30M after Saturday...I think it can still hit 40.  WOM should start to overcome the RT score

Oct 4–6 1 $55,785,112 - 3,575 - $15,604 $55,785,112 1

Oct 25–27 2 $20,135,387 -32.9% 3,707 -113 $5,432 $199,649,748 4

Gravity has the biggest 3rd weekend in Fall. I think IT should beat that cause the Sunday drop looks a little pessimistic.

Creditable for Gravity that despite a 55.8 ow compared to 123.4, it's in the reckoning for 3rd and 4th weekend Fall record.

Pretty good opening for Kingsman, not good at all for Ninjago.

IT held on pretty well. Thinking $350M+ is in the cards now.

American Assassin got boned with Kingsman arriving. mother!'s drop is bad of course but it could've been worse. Home Again has low-key done well.

Friend Request got declined, unsurprisingly.

Okay-ish start for Stronger but I doubt it expands from here. Also an alright expansion for Brad's Status.

Great starts for Battle of the Sexes and Victoria & Abdul. A $25K PTA for the former from 21 theaters makes me think it'll do very well in wide release next week.

It doesn't need a sequel, and if it does get one, the budget can be dropped to, say, $60M and probably still profit.

Lmao I'm sure the budget can be dropped no problem like fairy dust

Plus Vaughn clearly wants to make a third

Home Again should have opened in August and enjoyed those two weekends of no competition and good holds! Female appealing movies have done great in August in the past

If he wants to make a third, then he can go for it.

As for the budget, $60M is a bit too low, but if they stick with $81M budget of the first, then they can still quite easily profit on it.

What of the cast and crew comes at a higher fee?
