If things like interstellar and TDKR topped the list, there's no way an actually good Nolan movie wont

Especially when it's one of the most acclaimed movies of the year. I expect it to top at least seven lists.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say the forum's Top 25 is this:

1. Dunkirk

2. Get Out

3. Blade Runner 2049

4. The Shape of Water

5. Coco

6. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

7. The Post

8. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

9. Baby Driver

10. Wonder Woman

11. Logan

12. Thor: Ragnarok

13. The Disaster Artist

14. It

15. mother!

16. The Big Sick

17. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2

18. Molly's Game

19. Wind River

20. Lady Bird

21. War for the Planet of the Apes

22. Split

23. Call Me by Your Name

24. Spider-Man: Homecoming

25. Justice League

If I, Tonya gets a wide enough release in time for the deadline, I can see it being between 15-20.

Right now I can think of four movies in contention for my number 1 spot, and they're all very different from each other.

Hanz Zimmer scored at least one of them.

I haven't found a clear cut winner for me this year like I did last year.  Reminds me of 2015, it was a four horse race for me personally then too.

However I haven't seen the big awards hitters yet.  Billboards, The Post, Shape of Water, Lady Bird, Disaster Artist, Florida Project, Last Jedi and such are definitely gonna shake things up.  However last year was the first, since 2012 where I saw my favorite after october

What spot did Dory land last year? that's where Coco will be ranked.

Also, I think Logan might be number 1. It's the big crowd-pleasing movie with the least detractors.

Futurist's head will explode.

Never doubt Nolan's clout on here.

I dunno if it's gonna have quite enough passion. It's not a movie from a popular fanboy genre that people spend months obsessing over. I don't doubt it'll be in top 3, but I can see Shape of Water or Get Out pulling out a win in the end. Or maybe even Last Jedi.

We got almost 90 lists last year when the IMDB flood came in, don't think we will hit that mark this year, but with so many lists, a movie needs very broad support to make it onto the list.

I mean Made in America made the list last year....

Dory didn't even make last year's list  The animated films were Zootopia at #3, Kubo at #11, Moana at #12, and Your Name at #15. Coco will benefit from being the only animated movie with a chance at making the list to begin with, and reception is very positive at the moment.

Silence (#13) and Your Name (#15) are good comparisons as to where mother! will probably land. Given mother! will be available to buy on Blu/rent December 19, I'd say there's a chance at cracking the top 10, but it probably won't have the numbers to get that high.
