Was there ever one?

The first one was at least smart and self-aware. Even from a commercial standpoint, I don’t see where the value would be in making more LEGO movies. That well just seems to have been dried up at this point.

Thanks, I never watched one, no trailer,.... appealed to me (plus its not my ~ genre), so I was wondering for quite some time why I read it so often here at BOT e.g. in connection with top something lists

The first Lego Movie is great. One of the most fun and clever movies of the last decade. The novelty is probably why the other movies were unable to achieve the same kind of success (and saw diminishing returns because of it) though.

Reviews actually started popping up for Damien Jizzelle's new Netflix miniseries within the past few days and they seem positive. Too bad it seems like Netflix isn't doing much to push it (or all of their resources have been set aside for Ryan Murphy).

Unrelated; Ages ago, 20 CF bought the rights to the children's book "The Fantastic Family Whipple". with everything that's happened, I wonder if it'll get made.

It was probably one of the projects that when Disney was making the choices as to which Fox properties to keep or toss when they first bought them got the "toss" treatment.

lol I completely forgot Homeland finally ended tonight. How far that show has fallen from when it was dominating the awards cycle at the start (due to the fall in the quality with the second season aka the one that more or less introduced Timothee Chalamet to the world). Shameless is ending with its newest season as well so now Showtime can turn to dragging Billions out for another several seasons.

It...it was still going? I legitimately thought it ended three years ago.

Showtime just loves to keep shows on well past the point of everyone caring. Fully prepared for them to keep Black Monday (a show unworthy of its good cast) on for another several years despite no one caring for it either.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Bay Area Media has been putting the kibosh on this:

Mind, I actually do want them to sign the Wild Horse.  Just don't think it's a done deal yet.
