Yeah it makes absolutely no sense. You would think they would understand that underrepresented communities are hungry to see themselves on the big screen ala black panther; but, no, no promotional for crazy rich asians STILL. This could be a break out hit for them and it seems their really not trying to promote it at all. Oceans 8 had a poster like 8 months ago. Its kind of frustrating.

what are these movies about? Are they basically like Asian Gossip Girl type thing... Just wondering. I'm just wondering because I was looking up the books they are based on and there are so many

I am getting a very Best Exotic Marigold Hotel vibe from the advertising style with the logo and the backdrop.

Ok never mind I get the gist. A girl goes to meet her boyfriends parents in Singapore and it turns out they are basically like Royalty and his mom is a bitch.

There are 3 books - Crazy Rich Asians, China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People's Problems. It's an about an ABC girl whose Singaporean fiance turns out to be the richest heir in Asia (and possibly in the world). So she goes there and meets his numerous family members and other players. It's more those old 80s rich people shows like Dynasty and Dallas than Gossip Girl. though, of course, there's gossip.
