Absolutely amazing the numbers this film is doing. Never thought Black Panther would debut on Avengers level. My local theater is going nuts for this. I haven't seen it this busy since TFA.

Black Panther's Monday just keeps getting higher and higher. Unless legs are somehow average (seems unlikely), over 600m and maybe even Infinity War, is entirely likely. Plain bonkers!

Black Panther could very well be gunning for largest Superhero movie Adjusted.  Would need to pass 708m or so.

 

At the very least unadjusted looks like a solid bet.  Wow.

when I see these BP numbers and just how INSANE they are it brings a smile to my face,  I'm so happy.

 

For other culturally relevant films, that Wonder Woman Opening Weekend is really looking like a disappointment.  It had amazing legs but wow.  Only $103M or something like that.  Decent number,  should have been more.

Samson bombed.  Black Panther needs to make like $5M or $4M in its 8th weekend if I want to win that bet.  And if it goes over Titanic I win even more money.

Wow, amidst all the craziness of its DOM performance, I totally didn't even realize what BP had done OS this weekend. That's an insanely amazing start without China! If China breaks out, it may be able to even manage close to a 50/50 split. IW's OS is going to go apeshit. I'd say it has a real shot at beating F7 for third biggest OS haul ever.
