I’ve heard it’s a little more tolerable than the first 2 but that isn’t saying much. I still can’t believe they made this a trilogy.

They made the entire Atlas Shrugged trilogy into a movie despite the first bombing hard and the second bombing even worse. I don't think the producers of these movies care about profitability, they just want to get their message out there.

Anyone else feel Mark Rylance was channeling Tommy Wiseau with his hairstyle and delivery?

I thought it looked quite weird in the trailers but was very endearing in the movie actually. Very memorable character.

I also really liked Ben Mendelsohn's  villainous turn in it and I thought he was having a lot of fun making this particular villain seem and feel quite a bit more pathetic(in a funny way) than his Rogue One character. I look forward to see if he'll be able to make his villains in Robin Hood and Captain Marvel also feel different.

I really enjoyed the film by the way. It started slow but by the end of it I was having a blast! I'm so glad they got Spielberg to do it, he was always the perfect fit and quite possibly the only one to truly get it.

RPO is geeky if you look at all its references and shit but at its core it's a fun, enjoyable adventure movie with a basic premise.  A casual audience will be able to watch it with ease.

Eh, it's pretty geeky. You kind of have to be one to have any investment whatsoever in the story.

Went ahead and read the wiki plot of RPO and I'm so confused.

What's to be confused about? It's a straight forward plot, there are 3 challenges and the first person to complete the challenges gets control of the company.

Go read the wikipedia plot, that is not straightforward.

Saw Acrimony today. First hour and  a half is trashy Perry fun. Last 30 minutes is some of the most gawd-awful over the top dreck I've ever seen.

I'm not sure if I am now more interested or less interested in seeing it after that critique.
