3M (+110%)

2.7M (-10%)

1.8M (-33%)

7.5M Weekend, 29% drop

:winomg:

SG dropped 6% yesterday compared to last Friday. It's looking at a strong weekend hold. It still won't come anywhere close to the first one.

I put 7.1M in the Derby, so it was expected based on weekdays like you said. BUT HOW WERE THE WEEKDAYS THAT STRONG??? :winomg:

Several kids are off school on Easter week.

What is  Acrimony?

It's when you are bitter and angry but that's not important now.

What other movie for young children is playing right now?   And it's Spring Break for many.

Still though, that's a small drop!

Oh it's the Tyler Perry movie. Had no idea that was coming out this weekend

Have you seen anything since Black Panther?

Wrinkle in Time and Peter Rabbit are still wide, Ready Player One had quite a bit of kids at the two showings I went to yesterday and the day before, Black Panther has family appeal as well, Tele took Tele Jr. for Pacific Rim so maybe some parents are doing the same (?), Jumanji and Greatest Showman are still technically in wide, I Can Only Imagine is rated PG (hell so is God's Not Dead 3), and Isle of Dogs is playing at a few indie theaters.

Except for PR and WIR (and even this is pushing it there are upsetting themes) none of those are really for very young children and they've been out for awhile.

... Tele as we all know is trying to curate and corrupt Young Tele's taste.  No Spider-Man but PR 2?  Really
