Although that's not something to be ashamed of as only 5 non-Jim films have ever done it. ZeeSoh
1.6m Monday for Black Panther. Down just 12% from last week!!! It has now overtaken Jurassic World for #4 Domestic and overtaken Frozen for #10 Worldwide. https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2018/04/03/black-panther-topped-jurassic-world-despite-a-distinct-box-office-disadvantage/amp/ Edited April 3, 2018 by ZeeSoh 7

narniadis
Solid post Easter Monday but as @baumer has said, it's nothing unusual. Most films will see small drops today (<10%) before diving on Wednesday per usual. Hoping RP1 gets to 150m+ not only for the Berg's late career but for the sake of there being nothing that has gotten really big since BP. Would love to see it challenge Lincoln and top 200m.

a2k
Not only did BP beat JW but did so without it's dailies falling below 1m. If it stays above 1m on Wed and Thu (very likely) ditto for Titanic.
Ledmonkey96
700mil seems pretty likely at this point, TFA made about 40~mil from yesterday forward and BP made double TFA's total for the day
YLF
So... does Bp have any chance at 700M still?

It's having Spider-man's multi with The Avenger's OW, and furthermore it is the first domestic juggernaut released outside of the holiday or summer seasons when weekdays get huge boosts. Beyond all of that, the titular character was never even close to an established or recognizable comic book character in pop culture prior to the film release, unlike every single other huge CBM excluding Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man (though the latter was at least somewhat known). BP isn't quite TFA or Avatar's run impressive in terms of huge blockbusters this century, but it's gotta be solidly in third.
