Ready or Not doesn't look like it has the obvious political undertones that this movie has so its release will go forward.

I am kind of scared for Lindelof's Watchmen now; that's gonna reaaally piss off the alt-right, so I hope HBO doesn't do anything severe.

This is the second movie this year between them that ended up clashing with real world events (following Happy Death Day 2U, which had its release moved up a day to avoid the one year anniversary of Parkland and wasn't released in that area at all). Strange.

This movie didn't just get cancelled because it was "pro-Trump". I'm not even sure it is (it's also speculation based on like two lines in the trailer). It is also because the dumbass president and the MAGA crowd thought it was anti-Trump. 

 

But my Joker comment was a joke. WB won't cancel it and shouldn't.
