Movies from that Letterbox review were all so bad they became cult classics. This shit is just mediocre and forgettable according to reviews. So, no, there won't be any resurrection in the future. Nice try 355 plants.

Dude it's a joke.

The worst thing about the reviews is that all the reviews are basically saying its mediocre instead of being truly bad. The mediocre movies are the worst - they don't strive for anything good and aren't bad enough to enjoy for their badness.

Yeah, at least with a really bad movie you often can laugh at the incompetence, but a medicore movie is often the worst thing a movie can be....boring.

Kinberg must have some serious dirt on a bunch of Hollywood executives, because I really don't see any other reason as to why he keeps getting work after the cinematic charisma vacuum that is Dark Phoenix.

I think his days of living off his early sucesses are just about over. Another bomb and he will not be A list anymore.

I think, based on an interview I saw with Jessica Chastain a while ago about this movie, she was the one who put the project together and asked Kinberg to join. Kinberg seems to be a nice person (Jennifer Lawrence would only sign on to return for Dark Phoenix if he directed it, in order to encourage him to start directing), and he must have been a competent director on the ground, delivering things on budget and on time, and also working well in colaboration with the cast. That is an important component of getting more work opportunities that we don't often take into consideration.
