I wonder if Solo bombing so hard was just to get people to turn to Netflix and create a market where Netflix makes big budget fx movies

yeah but maybe they were trying to ruin Star Wars and the theaters and the box office would sink and Netflix would even/level it out.  just a thought.  what do I know, I ranked it #1 for the year so far.

So that would be a $119.7M Opening Week

Barely above the first day of TFA ($119,119,282)

So with a $4.5M Thursday.

It could do:

Friday: $8M (+77.7%)

Saturday: $11.2M (+40%)

Sunday: $8M (-28.6%)

For a Weekend off $27.2M (And a 67.8% drop) Okay, might do a bit better, but comparable openers didn't increase much more on Friday and Saturday.

So after all it's behaving like any Memorial Day opener and not like a family movie.

I’m gonna admit those are the high end of my predicts. Optimism at max. Should my guess come true then it may finish at $2.069m like what I said. :sparta:

Yeah $2 Billion is a done deal. Can the Russo Brothers join James Cameron to direct multiple $2 Billion films next year? JJ Abrams is out of the running most likely with Episode IX.

shame the Russo Brothers will never direct 6 - 2 billie club films or 4 - 3 billie club films

1 billie, 2 billie, 3 billie 4, 5 billie 6 billie 7 billie more

So BPs weekend should reach 350K. It really does look like this will stall at 699,9 LOL

It hasn't even gotten it's theater expansion yet. Let's wait until then before we (wrongly) declare the end result!🙄
