Nova
Spider-Man Homecoming dropped 58% on its first Monday so 61% drop for Ant-Man doesn’t really tell us anything to be honest. Even if it was a better drop or worse drop, can’t really determine legs based off a drop. Have to wait and see how it plays out.

Rebeccas
Any reason why they didn't just release it on July 3 Tuesday like TASM in 2012?

Reasons I can think of is that Jurassic World had two week imax contract and/or they wanted their Incredibles movie to benefit the most from the holiday

Can Ant-Man do the same? Should wait. IMHO competition is about the same. A good thing about Ant Man is that it’ll keep PLFs until Fallout and competition is weaker than Homecoming. That being said like I said last weekend, it’ll drop about the same as Homecoming and it’s legs will improve afterwards.

EDIT: also am2 is a sequel unlike those two and that could show at some point but not this early imo. so yeah, nothing much to read from the mon drop Edited July 10, 2018 by a2k
Cap
If AIW can hold 50.9% or better from Sunday, it will hit 675M today, officially. If not Tuesday; either way, snatched those points in the Summer Game Milestones. Edited July 10, 2018 by captainwondyful 2
