Overall

Last week (25-31 March) - 47.714

This week (01-07 April) - 24.936

Drop - 47.74%

China

Last  week - 5.51

This week - 2.08

Drop - 62.25%

Without China

last week - 42.204

this week - 22.856

drop - 45.84%

A good drop considering a direct competition opened this week. Heading to 690 million right now which is an increase over my 680 guess from last week. It remains to be seen if this is an Avengers boost or the new normal. But its great nonetheless. There is a slight chance it can still get to 700 if people go out to see it one last time before Endgame or if it gets double billings with Endgame.

700 will look a lot better with your actuals update tomorrow, especially considering China is now gone. Could still go under though, for sure.

From DHD:

After passing $1B worldwide earlier this week, Carol Danvers added $14.1M in 55 material offshore markets this session. That brings her to $663.5M for the 7th slot on the all-time superhero charts overseas. Globally, she’s at $1,037.6M to become the No. 9 biggest superhero movie ever.

Europe fell by 39% regionally in the 4th frame. Notably, the drops are led by such markets as France (-26%), Spain (-27%), Netherlands (-29%), Germany (-38%) and the UK (-43%). The region has now grossed an estimated $185M, surpassing Captain America: Civil War this weekend.

In Asia Pacific, strong holds include Japan (-33%), Taiwan (-35%) and Australia (-47%). The gross across all markets there is $366M, including $154M from China.

In Latin America, Brazil was down 35% while the full regional dip was 45% for an estimated $112M to date. Captain Marvel is currently the 5th highest-grossing MCU title ever in the region (based on admissions) and the top standalone MCU pic, now leaping past Black Panther.

But it could ROTK:( Please don't pass ROTK even if that messes up my club please leave ROTK alone!

Just think how much could have done today ROTK in China and you will not be so sad... When something passes ROTK WW I always do the same exercise and it does not hurt so much :)

Said this, it is holding very well in Spain. This last weekend it has done €0.5m (provisional), what means a 34% drop. With actuals it could still go up.

OS actuals came in 0.6m higher. I have updated my above post with all the drops with the actual numbers.

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $374,133,563    36.0%
Foreign:  $664,099,896    64.0%

Worldwide:  $1,038,233,459

Hmm, 40% weekly drops from here leave it at about 699.3. Not sure if that will be too optimistic or too pessimistic.

Is 420 Dom, 690 OS still possible?

carol pls :sparta:

690 is very likely.

420 depends on just how good the holds are the next could weeks.

I'm forecasting about 400 give or take by the time end game comes out. Question is how it does for the following 10 days after.

There’s actually a pretty non-trivial chance that these will be the final values rounded to the nearest 10M.

Carol dankest avenger confirmed.

I just had a lengthy rant in the German thread, it is about something else, but it does include some data about CBMs numbers in Germany in general (not good)  No CBM, no matter which franchise, is in the top 100 admission list, the money list only goes to #47, no CBM on it as well.  The highest a CBM movie ended in a top 10 of the year chart was last year's Avengers 3, it reached #4 of the year.  If interested into more, see the rant, but.... it is a rant, be warned.

Germany:

Es gibt ein neues erfolgreichstes Debüt im Marvel Cinematic Universe in Deutschland (Besucher): 1) 1.806.842 CAPTAIN MARVEL 2) 1.799.087 Guardians of the Galaxy 3) 1.797.661 Black Panther 4) 1.465.477 Doctor Strange 5) 1.119.430 Thor 6) 1.007.484 Spider-Man - Homecoming

Translated from German by

There's a new most successful Debut in The Marvel Cinematic Universe in Germany (Visitors/admissions) 1) 1.806.842 CAPTAIN MARVEL 2) 1.799.087 Guardians of The Galaxy 3) 1.797.661 Black Panther 4) 1.465.477 Doctor Strange 5) 1.119.430 Thor 6) 1.007.484 Spider-Man-Homecoming
