This will probably be the best or the second best cbm this year.

 

I wonder how legs will fare with the longer runtime. Endgame and nwh werent affected but they had different hype and hooks compared to this one

Just over a week till we get first reactions. I've seen a lot of critics assuming this will be a mess due to the production delays and issues, so we'll see if they're wrong soon enough.

The fact that they're releasing this theatrically in France after all and not Strange World speaks volumes about Disney's confidence in that movie. I can't really blame them after the divisive reception to Raya and the flopping of Lightyear.

I'm trying to find a single metric that shows this and I'm at a loss.

I found raya to be mid by even WDAs standards but it's reception was by no means divisive.

 

As for strangeworlds, it seems DOA to me. Will definitely need wom . 

 

Pandemic and post pandemic Disney handling of their animation branches has not been great . Disney + treatment has hampered their box office  prospects .

Would have preferred them to release earlier just to not get an annoying surprise like Thor (which seemed like it would get much better reviews).
