Just over a week till we get first reactions. I've seen a lot of critics assuming this will be a mess due to the production delays and issues, so we'll see if they're wrong soon enough.

Were those assumptions made before or after the trailers came out?

The fact that they're releasing this theatrically in France after all and not Strange World speaks volumes about Disney's confidence in that movie. I can't really blame them after the divisive reception to Raya and the flopping of Lightyear.

I'm trying to find a single metric that shows this and I'm at a loss.

It seems some of you the word "divisive" to confirm your own bias rather than the movie actually being divisive.

Extremely ironic post but  only if someone is familiar with your post history

Its because of my post history that it isn't ironic at all. The word like the term "mid" has completely lost its meaning. I wont got into details cause i dont want to get threadbanned again

I found raya to be mid by even WDAs standards but it's reception was by no means divisive.

As for strangeworlds, it seems DOA to me. Will definitely need wom .

Pandemic and post pandemic Disney handling of their animation branches has not been great . Disney + treatment has hampered their box office  prospects .
