That won’t stop studios from spending $80 million on a fucking movie about Dick Cheney, though.

The only ones who were crazy enough to do that were Annapurna (who almost certainly is approaching bankruptcy soon anyway).

It's too bad Green Book couldn't have had a more prominent and more appealing marketing campaign. The legs have been fantastic, it just started with so little.

It’s gonna get a second chance in January now that the Christmas rush is out of the way and awards season will be in full swing soon.

Because Universal were so concern about the historical success of mortal engines, and the amazing staying power of the Grinch that could legs to 300m.

Neither of those goals materialize.......

They should quickly shift back the attention to GB.....

A marketing push by Universal and re-expansion would be nice. I really do feel like it has the potential to reach a larger audience. January's slate of films is also extremely unappealing looking barring Glass.

If Annapurna goes bankrupt, that'll hurt MGM because Annapurna acts as their distributor.

MGM has been releasing movies on their own recently again (Creed II, in particular) and have been doing just fine. I’m sure they’ll survive.
