BR's worldwide box office gross is just completely insane when you consider it's a biopic. Or even just on the broad scale of dramas in general.

If I'm not missing another movie, New Moon is currently the most successful Hollywood film ever with a budget of 60m or lower, grossing 709m WW. Can't wait for BR to get past that.

Only because of that opening day. Withholding any screenings until opening day (not even holding night before previews) turned out to be the best thing Sony could do under the circumstances.

Bohemian Rhapsody's run is fucking mental. 500+ OS for a musical biopic....... Jesus Christ. And it still has a chance at 200M DOM (rejoice, @WrathOfHan), especially if Rami Malek is nominated for Best Actor and/or the film gets a Best Picture nod. Unbefuckinglievable.
