reviews are "mixed"

note RT >> Meta for these kinds of flicks. Meta for Arthouse flicks only.

RT has a higher sample size. 99% RT is insane. Best Action film ever made.

99% RT and near 3 hour runtime...this is the best action movie ever made? Mad mad fury road previously was.

not even the best Mad Max film. As far as action Die Hard and Terminator 2 Judgment Day are top tier

SCREENSHOT IT! SCREENSHOT IT! 😂

also the runtime makes it better dont forget, nearly 3 hours means it isnt a cheap product. Value for money and good plot and character development is essential to a movie. Thats why i prefer longer films.

i dislike shorter films in general were its only 90 mins, it cheapens it, no development possible. OK for animated /kids films at shorter lengths only.

Yeah this one is pretty fantastic. The best sequences for me were the ones that emphasised on suspense although the usual action ones are well executed ofc. Hayley Atwell definitely stood out for me her role is a good departure from previous MI leading females.

The Part One is somewhat justified but it's a more complete film than AtSV or Fast X.

I'm not sure anything will top Fallout for me in this series but this comes damn close.

Rotten Tomatoes doesn’t work that way. If a movie has even a single negative review, it won’t go back to 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, even if the percentage rounds up to 100.

You can't prove this

MI films are like Bond films for me, for the most part it's quality filmmaking and i end up watching and enjoying them but there's not one ounce of passion on my part for them. Maybe Casino Royale came closest to me "feeling" something.

Feel the complete opposite. A lot of modern films feel bloated.

I find myself constantly wishing all these films cut out 20+ minutes that add very little.

I often wonder if it's had a negative affect on box office. Movies never used to be this bloated.

Bond has a tendency to fall apart when it goes for feelings. I really hope the next iteration learns from MI on that front: don’t try to be something you’re not.

How about: if you go for it, make it good?

I don't know what you are referring to btw, i still haven't watched the latest Bonds. Speaks for my passion for the franchise, i guess.

But i don't want to limit it to just "sad drama", these franchises just don't stir anything in me. I watch them, i acknowledge the cool stunts but that's pretty much the extent of it.
