Will you be there? Not sure how to understand the 'don't need my ear' part

Oh, yes.  I will be making the annual pilgrimage to sacred Halls of H to pay reverence to One True King in the Baseball Cap.  (Speaking of Cap, if it's a jubilee year we get blessed with his presence as well.  Please, Kevin, let it be a jubilee year.  I will take Evans or Mackie.)

@terrestrial Wondyful will indeed be in Hall H when it’s all going down. If I recall correctly there should be a dedicated SDCC thread that goes up in the next couple days.

Thank you!

I never was on any convention, I guess its lots of fun for the people liking noises and big crowds.

Not a problem with crowds as long the air exchange systems are up to the situation.

Loud noises ... nit that good for me, over a longer time it makes me tired as my hearing is still above average even if I would be still in my '20 according to my last hearing test (but I do only see 2-dimensional....)

I hope they have ear protection then.... especially if the record really breaks till then (depending in in which countries and with which effort its theoretically possible I guess, but I didn't read through the whole international section nor all of its OS thread)

This week a lot of titles are in the blue insted of in the red I think. Seems to have been in general have been better than expected for whatever reason.

But overall Disney still had the 3 highest $ increases and the two highest in %.

yes, but thats rather often happening with Disney titles, to the degree its even called typical. 😉

At least in the past, Sony,.... usually not

In the last few weekends there were some pretty blue charts, I like that way better than the other way around (like sadly the last few weekends also happened) 😉

Could Aladdin reach $350M dom?

Unless TLK completely murderizes it, $350m shouldn't be much of a hassle. Maleficent added another $28m from a $6m weekend and Aladdin has been outpacing it drops-wise.

Just realised:

per this weekend's Disney's TS4, Aladdin,.... OS included Disney surpassed the ww $6b mark - for the titles released solely in 2019 (excluding 2018 holdovers)

Too lazy to look up the 2019 ww part of the holdovers too.

Unless TLK kills it I would say definitely, the much more interesting questions now are 360m and 4x (366m) with the later most likely being a step to far and it will end probably with a multi like WW (3.996x or so) actually right now I say it barely gets to 360m (like 360.05m)

TLK is going to kill it (critics proof spectacle folks) but Aladdin can hold well and benefit from spillovers. Same goes for FFH.

Lets hope Aladdin doesn't lose too many theaters/screens.

Double feature with TLK will help tremendously plus LD weekend expansion, my guess it gets close to 370M.

Aladdin more so than Toy Story will likely get DF with Lion King. I think, if anything, Lion King will help it.
