if 1.56 is true for TS4 its wednesday is ahead of Monday. Its looking at really good number. Even TLK monday to wednesday drop is not bad relative to last week. Already its sub 50% from last week. I am sure thursday drop will be better as well. Could be looking at 40m+ 3rd weekend.

Rush Hour 2 was such a massive hit...

Still #4 on the list of highest August OW...

Generally, the top 10 for a given month are movies released in the past 10 years

Notable exceptions :

Star Wars SE : 1997 still #10 for January

Hannibal : 2001 still #6 for February (at the moment, if I remember properly, it was the #3 or 4 highest OW ever!)

Huh. Thought it was going wide this weekend.

I think it was supposed to, but maybe A24 changed plans at the last minute, which is understandable. Eighth Grade had a near identical rollout to Farewell the first couple weeks, went wide on the first weekend of August, and pretty much bombed on that weekend. Why repeat the same mistake twice, especially with a film that's locked to at least double Christopher Robin's opening?
