This sucks. Bankruptcy in the US, insolvency in the UK.

I have a Cineworld Unlimited card. Wonder what’ll happen with all of this. I have a Showcase and an Odeon nearby as alternatives.

I have an Everyman as my other alternative. Over half an hour to the closest Odeon

That sucks. Yeh our Everyman is in the city centre and it’s not big enough for the niche films I sometimes like to see unfortunately.

I wonder if another chain would buy them over, if any are in the position to be doing that just now.

Likelihood is restructuring the business, closing underperforming sites and maybe scaling back from multiple cinemas in one city

Nope was #1 on Friday (down about 40% from last week). Close between Super-Pets and Bullet Train for #2 and #3. Fisherman's Friends and Minions very close for #4 and #5.

All the holds had fantastic drops or increases.

Dragon Ball opened #10

Thanks!

I’m glad Nope is still #1. I assumed it would go to Fisherman’s Friends 2 but it looks like it’s underperforming. I’m sure it’ll do well midweek.
