With the latest SM-FFH number, MCU for the year has gone over $5B WW and easily second to Disney for the year. Absolutely crazy year for MCU.

Think they can beat it in the future? Or is this peak?

Crawl will crawl to 40M no? I know it'll lose shitton of theaters on Friday but it's gonna be less than 3M away from the milestone today so...

I think it will :)

$19 million weekend=ANOTHER 50% drop. TLK is suffering some really bad holds. Weekend 4 is when the movie would really need to stabilize. Right around TDK's numbers is where this will lead.

Yeh there’s really no reason for the continued heavy drops with no direct competition, I can’t see it falling another 50% this weekend.

This is what I'm watching for. It could be anywhere.

Family movies seem to be the ones that get the biggest Tuesday bump, however, H&S is the type of movie you may want to check out, but not pay full price for.

TLK and TS4 did manage 50%+ jumps. H&S was on the higher end at 45%. Definitely correct in that the % were sort of all over the place.

TLK passes Shreck 2 for 19th place all time and will pass tDKR on Wed or Thur.

TS4 will pass TS3 on Friday and JW:FK over the weekend.

FFH passed DP for #48 on the all-time chart.

So, ultimately a little worse than originally thought 49% week-to-week drop for TLK...maybe it can go back to low 40's drop tomorrow...would need $4.85M to get to a 45% week-over-week drop...

A note: week over week is about to be a somewhat useless metric as more schools enter the fray

Yes, but...while schools enter the fray, some movies don't lose the staying power in their later legs...SMHC had amazing week-over-week drops all through August 2017...so, August can be a gold mine for the right movie's late legs...and not so much for others...
