narniadis Posted October 10, 2019 Share Posted October 10, 2019 One aspect all of those griping about K' AMC data in addition to the loss of evening showtimes in IMAX and etc is the fact that Joker over indexed in major cities which means that Yum Kipper yesterday also over influenced those same areas. Charlie already gave a great read for today also, but some of yall that are acting just as those of us who tend to be conservative about numbers feared - if its a "downer" of a call you are ignoring the information we have at hand to explain why. It makes perfect sense that a film over performing in the two largest media markets will also "under" when the same effects are removed. My mistake here, the only data point I checked was of Captain Marvel Thursday, last film I actually tracked in weekdays during the day. And CM had Thursday boosted by Endgame trailer, the morning was suggesting 17-20% drop ended up only 8%.
