Fantasy Island... wasn’t terrible? I know it isn’t “good“ but it’s miles better than Truth or Dare. The twists are dumb towards the end, and the movie has too much going on for the type of movie that it is, but it’s certainly not a 9% bad.

 

Honestly, I’ve made it through the first 1.5 months of 2020 without seeing a movie I actually hated.

Looks like 26 (-55%) 2nd weekend feasible for Sonic after close to 81 week 1, for 107 10-day.

That would make 165-170 dom the target imo.

Looking at the past few years, a 40% drop on Wednesday looks pretty high. I'd personally lean more towards 30%. Here's my prediction:

 

5 Tues  

3.5 Wed 

3.5 Thurs

 

82 mil first week

 

7.7 Fri (+120%)

13.9 Sat (+80%)

9 Sun (-35%)

 

30.6 2nd weekend (47.2% drop)/112.6 total

Many Canadian provinces had a holiday on Monday. Ontario being one of them. That would account for the somewhat better holds Monday in Canada

I'd be careful with predicts - between the Atom deal ending, another family moving coming, the lack of 2 holidays for the weekend, and this being a fan-based property...well, it could have a shockingly-high-for-a-family-movie drop...I know you've got common Math...but this may not match common Math:)...

 

Or this weekend could have gotten the not completely convinced off the fence so their kids can all talk the same movie...

 

But, anyway, Tuesday finished the 5 day OW...now, Wed will start the "see where this goes" process:)...
