Isn't Box Office pro still predicting it over The Northman with 8-13m over 5-10m?

That's actually a typo, prior tracking from last week. Should be fixed now. Was meant to be 6-11M but the initial publishing went out overnight.

Pinpoint isn't available online but is actually a bit less than Northman at this point since the latter will have a Dolby boost.

Marketing has been decent for Talent under the circumstances. It's compared closely with The Gentlemen in a lot of models, but pre-pandemic vs. now on that type of film is another example of how uncertain this type of content is without a strong pre-sale base. It's feeling like a modern Snakes on a Plane, for those who remember that reference.

Marketing in terms of ad volume and imprints, I mean. Quality-wise, I don't think the movie's purpose and premise have been sold super well even to Cage fans (is that even a base? 😄).

Fantastic Beasts 3 Alpha Friday - 190907/808453 2767651.69 4335 shows

Meh. Well below 250K I had projected based on presales couple of days ago. Walkups have been very poor past 2 days. I dont have full MTC2 number but it looks like around 170K/1.9m friday. So thinking around 12.5m true friday and I feel previews were overestimated. Could see around 18m with previews tomorrow.

Ahh, snakes on a plane, the first time a meme made people think that a movie would be a big hit

Doctor Strange Harkins T-24 Days

Normal - 8,490 on 362 shows (+1141 in last 4 days)

Premium - 6,578 on 62 shows (+458)

Total - 15,068 on 424 shows ($192K)

Around 1600 seats added in last 4 days.  For 21K by T-10 days, need nearly 6k in 14 days. This looks hard.

Thanks @Menor Reborn for data.

Doctor Strange Harkins T-21 Days

Normal - 9,140 (+650 in 3 days)

Premium - 6,951 (+373)

Total - 16,091 ($204K)

1023 seats sold in 3 days. Nice pace.  Probably not 21K in T-10 days, but 20K may happen. Fine enough.

Thanks @Menor Reborn

note for future Jat. you posted this data a day later, so don't be confused seeing date.

Numbers dont lie.

But @Porthos could.

Only logical assumption: Porthos wants to see Doctor Strange fail :sadno:

Don't know if this was answered already but what is Unbearable Weight's screen count? Not being shown in the cinemas close to me (while the Northman is being shown in both).

3,000 locations, just like Northman. I'm assuming Lionsgate/those theater owners felt your location wouldn't sell well? I dunno!
