Yea we're gonna drop all this non tracking stuff. That expressly means you, @excel1. Next post from you that isn't tracking related is a thread ban.    Anyone else continues, it's points.

Doctor Strange counted today for Sunday, May 8 (11 days to go):
 

NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 887 (17 showtimes)
Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 583 (23 showtimes)
Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 93+ (16 showtimes, still 2 probably not true Sell Out reports)
Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 35 (13 showtimes)
Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 39 (17 showtimes)
San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 838 (27 showtimes)
LA (AMC Universal): 968 (30 showtimes)


Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 3.442+.

I said I would have better comps on Wednesday which is true for Thursday-Thursday and Friday-Friday comps but in this case it's useless. Because when I think about it, it would be pretty unfair to compare the preview day or the first full OD of a recent movie with the first Sunday of Doctor Strange. I think the presales of Doctor Strange would very probably look way worse in comparison than they are. So I decided to stay with the Sunday comp of NWH.
NWH had with 6 days to go (= 5 days left for Doctor Strange) 7.633 sold tickets also for Sunday and in the same 7 theaters = 45% of Spider-Man with 5 days to come closer for Doctor Strange.
I would have preferred a number over 50% but 45% with almost a week to go is of course not bad - would be 117M OW at the moment with 5 days to improve and I guess the jump over the next weekend won't be small.
 

Memory had today 47 sold tickets for Thursday in 6 theaters.
Comps: Copshop had on Wednesday 34 sold tickets in 7 theaters

and Blacklight had on Thursday = 1 day later 41 sold tickets in 6 theaters.

 

And for Friday it were today 34 sold tickets, now also in 6 theaters.
Comps: The Protege had on Wednesday 68 sold tickets in the same 6 theaters,

Copshop had 26 sold tickets in 7 theaters

and Blacklight had also 26 in 6 theaters on Thursday.

That looks a bit better than on Monday, maybe 5M OW are possible.

Apologies for the delay, as I've been waiting for one theater's seat maps to come back online (can't pull up fresh data on any of the ticket sites out there), and it's one of the busier theaters in town so I was loathe to just punt it for the night

2 days, but it wasn't that huge of a jump at that theater.  Didn't decide to pull up the old data to do a compare/contrast for that one solitary theater as I felt it wasn't worth it.
