I know I’m going to get shit for this, but eh, LFG.   We are a box office forum. We talk about Avatar excessively because it’s the biggest box office film of all time.  Most of the other places on The Internet TM do not. For the General Audience, this is a sequel to that cool movie from 12 years ago. To Nerd Culture, it’s the sequel to the movie they love to mock and meme. It has always been my belief that playoff, OT (sudden-death) hockey is the most stressful, extended, hold your breath sporting watch …

 

But those extra time periods were really on entirely different level

This sounds a bit optimistic, unless kids are not in school from Monday! With a movie that long we're probably looking at $60-65m weekdays! There's a chance it won't hit $200m until Day 8!
