Ronin46
Bad for 80 for Brady, Titanic is bad as well. Even if they are DL lowballing they are way off what I thought (8 and 10)
Krissykins
That would be two dreadful drops for 80 For Brady and Knock at the Cabin. Ouch! Maybe Magic Mike can hit $10m, but we’ll see.

corngrower87
I personally think it’s typical deadline lowballing, but we’ll see. It will definitely be interesting to see Avatar’s hold. I don’t know about other places, but it’s PLF showtimes we’re hit HARD by both Titanic and Magic Mike…
Poseidon
That 1,7m-number for Brady somehow doesn't make any sense. A second friday jump of 45% in February? Sounds kind of off.
Jonwo
What's the budget for MMLD? If it's as cheap as the previous films, WB will make a profit for sure.

Yesterday in the tracking thread when the budget was reported I speculated that it was probably because of back end deals and such, considering this was originally intended to be a streaming release. Shaping up to be a predictably dull Super Bowl weekend between openers that were niche affairs and holdovers being impacted by the big game. So much of 80 for Brady's audience being retirees probably means weekend increases will be on the soft side.
Verrows
https://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/2012W06/?ref_=bo_we_nav Same weekend in 2012. Look at that. Feels like that'll never happen again.

Feels like that'll never happen again. Well of course, that weekend was a week after the super bowl, which also had a five day weekend of valentines with no interference from the super bowl as well. Keep in mind that there were no streaming services besides Netflix and Hulu, at which many studios were catering to many audiences.
BadOlCatSylvester
What a huge shame the Titanic remaster isn't performing better. It's a fantastic remaster and a fantastic movie overall. But it is 25 years old, and it's not connected to an ongoing/soon-to-be-relaunched property, so I do get why it's going under the Avatar remaster.
