Are u kidding it made 11.6 m  this weekend  it would require almost

6x legs to add 70m

More like 3* legs int  from this weekend -45-50m int

Dom 11.6m this weekend about 4x gets it to 45m+ . So 50m+ can happen.

550-570m .

Overseas / global

Mermaid has earned $212.4M overseas and $466.0M globally.

It’s looking likely to only finish with around half, or less than half, the global earnings of:

  • 2017’s Beauty and the Beast ($1.26B)
  • 2019’s Aladdin ($1.05B)
  • 2010’s Alice in Wonderland ($1.02B)
  • 2016’s The Jungle Book ($967.7M)
  • 2019’s The Lion King ($968.5M)

The way they keep mentioning this every weekend but TLM will be more profitable for Disney than these films in terms of merchandising, spin-offs (animated series for children already announced) and likely even streaming

And they still haven't corrected that Lion King number. They're using the animated film's box office and not the remake's.
