Sure...but the genre in question is "tentpole blockbusters" not a specific claim about superhero actors. If you give a couple of people that you think are the least attractive person helming 100M tentpoles, I'll try to find comps.

40-45% drop on Father's Day weekend for such a female-targeted movie is pretty solid, especially with the arrival of two major titles that consumed a lot of theater space (even if they underperformed). Next weekend's drop should be good due to zero direct competition for its demographics.

Update on swim team and summer camp movie choices...

 

My local swim team is doing movie Monday this week.  For the 1st time that I can remember, they did not choose a single movie option.  Instead, they picked Spidey and Elemental (showings 10 minutes apart) and told parents to buy tickets for their preferred movie and they will have a coach/chaperone buy a ticket to each movie, so each movie will have a coach representative.

 

That's a 1st...maybe not a last...
