People are setting up for major meltdowns if  Barbie does 110. oppenheimer does 45 and Mission does 35 and that aint good enough. But that would never happen around here would it.

I’m probably one of the only people here who would be mildly disappointed with 110 OW for Barbie considering it wasn’t long ago many here were saying it would maybe make that total…

But it's not actually a faith-based movie.  I think that's the previous poster's point.

Nothing in the trailer nor review indicate SoF is a faith-based movie. It is straight out an action movie, only to have its marketing tactic heavily targeting church-going crowd.

Oh, then someone should say something, because the perception is it's a faith-based project. Probably due to the status of the production company.

Insidious falling off the map tonight. Wouldn’t be surprised with like an 8M Saturday.

WOM is hitting much, much harder these days.

Lowest in the series, which was enjoying a string of B/B+'s prior to this (which is good for horror, they never get above a B+). This thing is going drop like a rock next weekend.

Has any  horror movie ever got a A? Not even Scream?

Current predictions on the OW for both Barbie and Oppenheimer?

I don't know if this is relevant to this thread but I would say $125M for Barbie because no big share of PLF's and $60M for Opp because of the PLF's.

It's hard for them to get that high cause horror by nature anti-crowdpleasing. The ones that do it are either really, REALLY good or know their audience very well.
