Phantom Menace was unironically a good film

The Phantom Menace is fantastic, just needs to work on its script, story, characters, dialogue, acting, direction, comedy relief, use of jar jar, visual effects, and large-scale action. But other than that, it's great!

@Eric Bainbridge can we relax the SoF posting rules in this thread just for another 12 pages pretty please?

I had the worst day ever at work today and tomorrow is looking to be even worse. So no and no.

What i always give Phantom Menace is the Podrace which is just exhilarating and the music, especially Duel of the Fates and the Droid March. John Williams just went full masterclass for the music in the prequels.

It's definitely too early to talk about $600 million for Barbie, Imho. If the movie OW is $162m as Deadline report than with similiar legs to TDK 15 years ago, it would finish with around $545 million. Audience scores on RT and on IMDb are not as overwhelming as Batman's. For now, $500m is the target.

Agreed. Said the same last night. The Monday drop is just crazy if accurate but still, we should wait at least until the weekend before declaring Barbie over Mario. Lol
