There is absolutely NOTHING disappointing about TA numbers. NOTHING. It has the best midnight for a non-teeny-bopper driven movie and the same goes for OW. Plus greta WOM and stellar reviews. This is a marathon man, not a sprinter.

Totally. Didn`t it cost $300 mio to make? And will make only $450 mio OS by the end of the week and about $155-$170 mio dom. Epic fail.

I think a $160M+ is still in the cards; even if it's NOT, the legs will make up for it. A $380M+ total, bar none, especially with the incredible buzz.

Of course they have a semblance of an idea, based on matinees to total multiplier for this type of movie in this time of the year. It might still top 70m but i doubt by much. Edited May 4, 2012 by Elessar
