Ezen Baklattan
I'm not so certain about 20m. I'm guessing that It'll have a high midnight share and a noticeable drop on Saturday. Mid-to-high teens seems more likely, IMO.
Kvikk Lunsj
If AL:VH can hit a 20m OW then I am sure Spielberg's Lincoln can hit 30m.

iceroll
Very surprising and good for Vampire Hunter. I'm glad Fox has another hit.
Taylor
Very surprising and good for Vampire Hunter. I'm glad Fox has another hit.Budget was a reported $69 million, I wouldn't call it a hit quite yet. I'm glad it's exceeding expectations (and meeting mine) though. Hopefully it can hold up well. Moviedweeb
I still don't see Abe hitting $20m and there is definitely front-loading for this kind of film. I think it will be lucky to hit $17m for the weekend.
Bitcher
What makes you think it will be frontloaded?
Justin121
What makes you think it will be frontloaded?Rated R, genre, not amazing midnights, fans of the book wanting to see it right away, the ridiculousness of it all.I'm thinking Fri 7-8, Sat 6-7, Sun 3-4 would be a great result for it. Bitcher
R rating doesn't make a movie frontloaded by itself and the book doesn't really strike as one with significant fan following that would rush to see it on OD.

This movie has "fanboy" (for lack of a better term) written all over it which usually implies front-loading. The movie also looks really bad (judging by the trailers) so WOM can't be too good unless they pulled of a miracle (judging by the level of advertising this does not seem to be the case). Taylor
Wouldn't not very big midnights be a sign of it not being frontloaded?
rockNrollaDIM
Wouldn't not very big midnights be a sign of it not being frontloaded? Maybe $700k MID is huge for Abe though?
Moviedweeb
$700k midnight means that it is ABSOLUTELY front loaded. That is huge for this and the best news ABVH will have all weekend. I can't imagine the film being good so I think it is all downhill after today. We'll see... Edited June 22, 2012 by Clavius

Taylor
Maybe $700k MID is huge for Abe though? True, I was mostly just responding to Justin's post. Cowboys & Aliens had the same midnight number and that managed $36 million. This obviously won't come close to that though.
