baumer
Very good midnight numbers. I was expecting around 1.3-1.5 for both. BTW, Ted will easily win the weekend over MM. MM was killing it in presales and Ted still beat it for midnights.Where do you guys get this from? What makes you think Ted is going to explode? MM has sellouts right now in every state, You're just pulling the TED hope out of your butt at this point.
Jack Nevada
South Park the show is fucking hilarious, and the first movie (Bigger, Longer and Uncut) is 80 minutes of pure satiric gold. They should make a sequel at last.

MM had a 50%+ presales share on Fandango while Ted was in single digits yet it beat MM during midnights.

Letsuseournoggin
Matt Maconahey.. or however you spell it is huge here in Texas. The women in my office really only speak of him when they discuss MM. No mention of Tatum, that guy from True Blood, or the young one. Just MM.

If MM is selling out many theaters tonight and Ted is not, it's pretty simple to me.

TLK
That's midnights though. How do you know the presales weren't for Friday and Saturday.Presales always skew midnights. People prefer to buy tickets before showing up at midnight .
The Dark Alfred
That is an shockingly bad drop for TMB. Let's hope that Ted will rape it during this weekend.

If MM is selling out many theaters tonight and Ted is not, it's pretty simple to me.Because Ted wasn't selling out many theaters at midnight either then it suddenly was with half hour to go. I was tracking midnights last night and I called it. BTW, you may want to check the screen numbers too. Ted is playing in more screens 3:2 almost everywhere. I'm seeing sell out tweets from Laredo, Odessa, Sherman etc. This thing is huge in the south as well. Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama. Iceroll pulled up a google chart last night.
