I mean Fassbender hasn't proven to be a draw at all, i bet the casual movie-goer still doesn't know him. He has a worst flop on his hands (Steve Jobs) than those two, he also hasn't headlined a franchise by himself.

Kanye has some great music despite his douche baggery in real life, but the song is out of place. The trailer is solid otherwise. I don't think this will do much in its release slot, but unlike almost every other video game adaptation this at least had some potential for the film medium. Granted the story in the games gets convoluted af so hopefully they don't stay too faithful.

What is also interesting is that only one third of the film is taking place in the past. I expected the opposite, similar to how it's in the games. I wonder what the story in the present will be about, because from the trailer one would get the impression it's all taking place in the Abstergo facility. Two thirds of the movie in one location?

I hereby wish to disassociate myself with this stupid movie and do no longer care about its success - or its much more probable failure. Moreover, I find it is much worse than the glorious Prince of Persia and I'll start a club "Ass Creed UNDER glorious Prince of Persia".

Hollywood keeps trying to match the awesomeness of putting Jesus Walks on the Jarhead trailer. This was a slightly awkward fit.
