zackzack
650M WW relies on Itlay and Japan. Japan is turning away from superhero unless it is Spidey. In Italy, some movie called SOLE A CATINELLE grossed a mind-boggling $46M !!! That is their brand of blockbuster. You are asuming over a x3 multiplier from this weekend in current markets. I think that is too optimistic. I would low to 100 million more in OS current markets and another 60-65 from US. I can accept the other 30, so you would have 670-675 total.

John Marston
lol it's not going to reach 700m. It has opened pretty much everywhere. This weekend it had no competition. Next week Catching Fire will steal its thunder (a country like China for instance, business will completely die as both Catching Fire and Gravity open). Also in a country. And countries yet to open like Italy and Argentina it faces CF just one week later

In Italy, some movie called SOLE A CATINELLE grossed a mind-boggling $46M !!! That is their brand of blockbuster. sorry but it's a lie. In Japan Avengers and IM3 got impressive numbers, before them only Spidey could succeed. So it's the opposite : superheroes are more successful than ever before in Japan, following the global trade. By the way great for Thor 2 in Russia
