Well layered story with many interesting characters.  Uma was the only weak link, and her relationship with Hawke, particularly any sexual ones, was a bit out of place given the fact that she has a heart condition and you'd think she would know better.

Good film for me, but i don't feel an urge to revisit it anytime soon. I liked how it didn't deteriorate into a gun/carchase thriller as many SF movies seem to do (the nonsensical "In Time" by the same director comes to mind).

I don't know what is more sad, the fact that this is one of the most underrated movies ever or the movie itself. It really is very thought-provoking and engaging, a must-watch for anyone in my opinion. I have this constant desire to watch it over and over again. Where has it been all my life? I can't believe I just discovered it two days ago.A+
