The Futurist
Hunger's Games DP is the DP of Clint Eastwood since Mystic River.IN Blu Ray, the movie looks gorgeous but beauty wasn't what they were aiming for clearly ...But I just can't deny Katniss/Jen in 1080p ... lab276
Clearly, because Branagh says as much in the commentary.Who did it doesn't matter, it's still cinematography and it was still awful. Lumos
Very few blockbuster films can compete with Potter when it comes to cinematography, one of the things I'm most proud about when it comes to this series. Anyways, Half-Blood Prince was the first film I thought of when I saw the title of this thread. Delbonnel should have won best cinematographer that year...and DH1 and DH2 - although visually beautiful - were both a step down from the sixth instalment. Almost every critic who reviewed the film mentioned and praised its cinematography..... Edited September 6, 2012 by Mr Potter

I cry every time I watch it, actually I'm crying right now POA is by far, the most magical HP movie. the only ones that came close were HBP and POS  looks like a painting Edited September 4, 2012 by Goffeweenie
Master Scottb
Really? I'm not even sure if beauty was what they were going for on that one.Depends on how you define beauty I suppose. I thought the scenes in the Capitol showing the city and architecture were well done and nice to look at.
Jack Nevada
THG is a really good movie, but its visuals really aren't one of its stronger parts. The CG was pretty crappy and none of the cinematography impressed me that much.
