Taylor
Got passes to a screening on Wednesday. Can't wait.
TLK
Llewyn Davis made $400k from 4 theaters. This movie is opening in more theaters (6) but it should still have a better PTA (around $125k with a ton of sellouts) so I am going with $750k Opening Weekend. So over/under $750k ? Ezen Baklattan
I'm worried that this and The Wolf of Wall Street are going to eat into each other as big, edgy R-rated crime dramedies with A-list actors. Both seem to be very good, though, so WOM might be decent, but I'm not convinced that either one can easily finish much higher than $100m. (Right now, I see $90m for Hustle and $115m for Wall Street, by the way.)
The Panda
I'm worried that this and The Wolf of Wall Street are going to eat into each other as big, edgy R-rated crime dramedies with A-list actors. (Right now, I see $90m for Hustle and $115m for Wall Street, by the way.) But it's also Christmas where both these type of movies can survive, plus I see Wolf skewing a bit more towards an older crowd due to the hard R rating and Hustle skewing a bit more towards the younger (even teens) because of the Light R and J-Law. (Although DiCaprio's a pull for Wolf too) I think they'll both survive fine though, similar to how both Phillips and Gravity did extraordinarily well.
rainbowtrout
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XGf62RSAAw How can ANYONE say Jennifer Lawrence is unattractive??? IMO, she is much, much less attractive with that really short hair.
Travod
I'll probably see it this weekend when I go home, but it's playing in some really janky theaters. Edited December 10, 2013 by Only Travod Forgives

Hatebox
I'm impressed at that average rating given how many of reviews comment on how messy the film is. Maybe it's messy in an aimiable way.
dashrendar44
Messy like Lionel? Okay, I know the exit way...
The Dark Rock
Looks like some critics are having problem with the movie as they think Russel is trying to be over smart here.

ddddeeee
RT consensus Riotously funny and impeccably cast, American Hustle compensates for its flaws with unbridled energy and some of David O. Russell's most irrepressibly vibrant direction.
TLK
SAG and GG nominations are going to be of tremendous help and I am very confident in my $125k PTA prediction. The lack of screens because of The Hobbit opening is probably the only thing that can stop it from posting a really insane PTA.
The Futurist
1990-born JLaw gets her 3rd individual film nom before any 80s-born actors (I believe). Showing up not only her generation but her (slightly) older peers too. SAG wise. “The only thing I was good at was being a mess when I was her age." — Amy Adams on Jennifer Lawrence’s talent
