Olive
Actually MJ1 presales are better than I thought it would be, if the 3D works and it get a boost on VD, it could match CF numbers. On VD, Somewhere Only We Know will be huge and Le Dernier loup will have wide previews.

seduh
great number for the Hobbit 3 $125 is going to happen, and $50 increase over the last movie (66% increase!)
MonstersandRoy
Will Hobbit 3 outgross Cap 2 and X-Men:DOFP? Easy. Will perhaps pass those by the end of the weekend. Only needs $12m more to pass those.
Mojoguy
Why is the BOTFA going to lose so many screens when still performing strong? Because China doesn't like it when Hollywood movies make too much money, they want their local movies to make money too.
Olive
But with 3D, it wouldn´t be very good if the movie did the same number of CF I expected at least 35 M Based on presales, its OD will be solid, not sure about its legs though, it will have more than 30% of national showtimes, very wide release. Noctis
I just need it to hit $20m so it passes $400m OS. Its OS gross has been hit hard by exchange rates in comparison to CF.
MonstersandRoy
Thursday actuals: Running Man - 20.8 million Hobbit 3 - 16.2 million Both up from estimates. Friday Estimates: 1. Running Man - 16 million (total of 348 million) - $55.7m 2. Hobbit 3 - 14 million (total of 663 million) - $106.1m 3. Crazy New Year - 13 million 4. An Inspector Calls - 12 million 5. One Night Stud - 11 million Hobbit gross good considering screen drop. Thinking Running Man playing on double screens. keysersoze123
800m looks tough but 750m+ should happen.
MonstersandRoy
Meh, BOFA dropping on Friday, me not like. It's a good number considering the big screen drop from Thursday and Running Man on double screens, yet only 2m ahead of Five Armies. Shame it doesn't have more screens, but that's China.
