At this point with the favorable exchange rate, I’d be happy with it match the ticket sales of FF8 (which would put it at $213m as POTUS said). Anything over that is just a good extra.

it was smashing OD and Sat PS not MN.  

Matching FF8 was expectant most of the run. Just yesterday I thought it could do 70m

Cboo has it at 62m now. Maoyan at  57m and climbing fast. Itll reach 60m. Could clear 62m with actuals

 

I think many of you believe a smaller MN leads to a smaller weeknd than FF8.

When IW reported 39m for Domestic, lower than SW7, it was thought that a $230m weeknd would hit 

JW had much smaller MN sales than Ultron in Domestic but won the weekend

 

Lets wait until tomorrow midday before breaking shit

This wasn’t the general feeling I was getting in the pre sales thread. Not making it to n.1 in midnights seems like a huge bad surprise to me, I was seeing numbers over 70 million being thrown for its midnights. I wonder how the weekend should go but I am definately way more cautious about its potential in the Chinese market.

gross,  no need to show net.  fees and taxes are include in other countries and its been 2 years since they added them

it was 60m ish until yesterdays pop in the PS.

Maoyan at 60.5m and climbing.  Cboo at 64m.

It can still go higher. As posted earlier. MN don't always make the weekend

Below 180 is very unlikely barring an abnormally low rating or very bad multiplier. Both seem unlikely so yeah it should do at least those numbers

So it crossed 60M!! That's good news....Final number may still increase!!

 

OD presales should hit 182M. Applying FF8's multiplier yields 460M. So 500M looking very difficult now, but 450M still on track.

 

Saturday presales 60% higher than what FF8 was at this point!! Honestly can't see Saturday going below 600M.

 

$250M weekend isn't out of the question yet.
