 AQM Saturday increased 66% (157m to 360m), all time second biggest first Saturday increase among 50m+ Friday openers, behind only RPO 82% which had a 84m OD.

 

By my observation, AQM actual WOM (not that Maoyan score) is very close to RPO. But thanks to a larger audience, AQM should be heading to 1.8B as it looks, 100 more than JW2, 100m less than Venom, very close for the three.

 

AQM is a pure, near perfect popcorn flick. Keep expectations in check and you will enjoy it. Story is simple and straightforward. Characters are kind of one-dimensional. But the pace, action and VFX are so amazing. And it's fun. In some way, AQM is a SH film tailored for China. So still think it wont do $400m DOM, more likely around $300m, facing Spiderman, MPP, which is already a win for DC.

Looking for 220-240m.  Vm Sunday(224m) going down.  

PS thursday night looked meh up 75% at 35m. Its been an over performer on every metric every hour since

So, if Aquaman beats Venom tomorrow, does that mean that Aquaman will beat Venom dallies from tomorrow onwards (instead of from Wednesday like you previously predicted)?
