TalismanRing
So the numbers are similar to FF7 at same point. It's 8 days until JW's release. FF7's released on the 12th. So the comparative date would be April 4 which was 4,166 in pre-sales.

JCS
Why would a film like San Andreas do badly in China? Checks all the right boxes - popular star, brainless action, massive destruction, blockbuster...

POTUS 2020
when you think about it 70m would be close to on par with domestic number. you have to remember that the Chinese BO will be about 55-60% of DOM this year, aside from the breakout hit movies we can expect this percentage just like other markets maintain their percentage of dom for each movie vs annual percentage with the occasional deviation. AOU will wind up close to 55% 235m/450m. FF7 was 110%. TL is going to be far less than 50% the annual UK BO is 15% of DOM and AOU UK will do about 15% of DOM as well However skyfall was 50% of DOM 150m/300m or triple the norm because of the local nature of the film I say u/o 55% for this year would be a good barometer for success or failure. Of course this can vary from genre to genre
