Just watched the Prince of Winterfell. Good episode and it totally sets up next week's epic showdown. The only thing I didn't understand is why did Catlyn let Jaime go? Letting him go won't bring her kids back any sooner so I really don't get it.Another thing I don't really get is the Dany storyline. Ok so the house of undying guy has her dragons, but he said they must be with their mother. Is he on her side or not?

1.) Remember Littlefinger visiting her at Renly's camp? He suggested that Tyrion would exchange both girls (she has no idea they don't have Arya) for Jaime.2.) They just want to get her to the HotU basically. But no, they really aren't on her side. Well, Pyat Pree isn't. Xaro... he's on his own side, lol.

Well, remember it was Tyrion's idea. Tyrion actually is willing to do that. He doesn't want Sansa forced to marry Joffrey or kept captive by Cersei either and just wants his brother back. Besides, he knows it would piss off Cersei to lose Sansa and he loves pissing off Cersei. Also, you'll learn that Jaime is the least of the Catelyn Stark's problems.Jaime has quite a bit of character development upcoming (that part with he and Brienne and the boat is actually from the beginning of the 3rd book) and he's not near as horrible as the first two books would have you believe. That's what makes the whole series so great. Aside from a few characters whom it's hard not to hate, you're not sure who to root for.

In the books Catelyn doesn't let Jaime loose until she hears the news that Theon has "killed" Bran and Rickon. That news makes her all depressed and desperate to save her daughters.In the show they change the motivation to Catelyn needing to save Jaime's life from Lord Karstark and his men. Episode 7 clearly indicated that Karstark wanted to kill Jaime and his men were getting more and more drunk and pissed off as the night went on. They would have made a move on Jaime (since Robb was away) and no one would have lifted a finger to stop them. And once news of Jaime's murder reaches King's Landing, off goes Sansa's head.

Same here. Plus trying to remember which part of the story happened in which book. Especially since the later books overlap. I've just started A Dance with Dragons.

I was looking at the first novel the other day and I just couldn't get myself to buy it. I am really enjoying the fact that every episode is a surprise to me. I don't want to give that up even though I want to read the book so bad.

The first book you've already seen in Season 1. You'd be fine reading the first two books. You won't be done with the 2nd before this season's finale.

The Game of Thrones Season 2 soundtrack has leaked onto Youtube. Some tracks are spoilers for Episodes 9 and 10, and one track name is a total WTF since the track name is entirely irrelevant to this season but INCREDIBLY relevant to what is sure to be the watercooler OMG moment of Season 3. it refers to a certain song, and the track is some dude singing the lyrics to that song. Very haunting for those who know the context of it (which won't occur until next season).The final track name also confirms what I and many others suspected would be the cliffhanger for this season:

They weren't leaked in the normal term. Itunes accidentally put it on its store and people legitimately bought it before it was pulled. The stuff out there on youtube is from purchased material.
