  1. Hawkeye is the no-brainer. A wildcard I would find an interesting addition to this or any Black Widow film would be Mockingbird(recast from Agents of Shield)
  2. I love me an MCU film. However, I'd think WW84 has the advantage and to me wins. Black Widow as a $250m+ DOM grosser sounds about right. Then one has to consider this wild card. It'll have been almost 1.5yrs since an MCU movie hit. Will people be hungry for more and show up in large numbers OR will this be a 'soft' opening. Not necessarily an indicator of the long mentioned(desired in some camps) CBM fatigue but just less rush factor.
  3. I suspect the "if at all" portion of your statement is a good qualifier. Whatever crossover audience appeal there is between the two properties will be marginal to moot on third weekend. Those that will have wanted to will largely have seen Endgame 1 or 2 times already. They are ready for something new. I'm going to see Godzilla at the end of May, doesn't mean it impacts Endgame per se because I've already digested that film and moved on. Doesn't impact Pika either for example cause I was never going to spend money on that anyway.
  4. Is it confirmed they are looking to introduce Marvel's version of Hercules into the MCU on this project? Or is that just speculation?
  5. No Tuesday thread yet....hmmmm. Numbers haven't materialized for anything to justify a thread? Weird.
  6. Gambit is for sure in the mix when talking about comic book films long in 'active' development. DC's Flash with Ezra Miller is also now in the "running" I'd propose.
  7. Star Wars--->Potter--->MCU To me that is succession pattern for the generational franchise pop-culture king hierarchy. Avatar does not currently rate, we shall see what happens.
  8. Saw the news and yep....this thread has added a circle to the circus it already was! 🤣🤣
  9. The MCU was peaking as the Bayformers verse only continued its creativity slide. Kind of a two prong attack really.
  10. Endgame very likely could see a similar uptick in receipts the closer SM:FfH get to opening. It would mirror what happened to Captain Marvel.
  11. Many of us haven't forgotten. However, when Lucas did a re-edit of that series for DVD release he removed all those scenes, including the scene with his niece. Thus saying that wasn't canon any longer.
  12. I'm thinking this one will be her pre-IM2 perhaps, or part of it reflect back to at minimum the now infamous Budapest situation she and Clint talk about. Also about the events of the 'Red' on her ledger. I'd totally be for this being a whole pre-IM2 set film, her conversion to SHIELD and those trappings. Perhaps a Black Widow 2 film has post-Avengers but pre-IW. I'd suggest a Black Widow 3 film set post-IW but pre-EG as intriguing.
  13. A great time! I've seen it twice on the big screen and once at the Symphony Center where the orchestra plays the score as the film runs on a huge screen overhead! I hate that the Fandango movie event Sat 5/4 is Batman('89) and I'm not going to be able to go!!
  14. They don't have a direct response as apparently the rights to Namor the Sub-Mariner are muddied with Universal somehow.
  15. That would make me much more interested.
  16. This is my most excited new project from Marvel Studios. Big fan of Shang-Chi! 70s Marvel editorial basically took Bruce Lee, fictionalized him as Shang-Chi and BOOM, new superhero was born!
  17. This is likely to suffer from the "too much time lapsed" syndrome. I enjoyed the first but don't really recall anything from it, at all. Just remember liking it as I left the theater.
  18. With this project fully going forward Marvel Studios has finally found a project that I know very, very little about from the printed page. Prior holder was Captain Marvel but my Eternals reading is so small it'd make Ant-Man jealous. I've finally got some reading homework.
  19. It seems unusual that with Shazam having a respectable run AND a sequel assigned a screenwriter we should know more on Black Adam. I don't know if it holds any value but I saw scanning FB some article saying Dwayne Johnson wants to or did meet with Kevin Feige?
  20. I'm torn. I would like to find a way to wrap the Unicron teased story up in a concluding TF6. However, with the "make it up as we go" screenwriting that the Bay-verse writers have given us for 5 films we may be better off without that film. Their TF6 might leave us with just as many unanswered questions as we currently have. I'm totally fine if Bumblebee is a prequel series. I know they've now said, reboot, but that was after the fact. It is clear they crafted BB to try and have their cake and eat it too type deal by now saying, reboot, while being coy about that before. Solid writing could align BB prequel series with TF-1.
  21. With xxxxx actor out of the way that top $$$ money was going to go somewhere and it is justly deserved by Scarlet.
