  1. i'm a closeted twilight fan!!! on this board anyway! i'm sure i'm not alone! my signature is as far as i dare go... so its sure to stay a deserted western scene for all eternity(fitting with vampire theme)!!
  2. i've only ever seen the theatre version in theatre !afterwards i bought the extended edition only , i was one of those fans who thought the theatre version were too short, i remember thinking once fellowship was over and people started exiting the screen room "whaaaat its already overr say it ain't soo" i immediately bought a ticket for the next session that night (i went to afternoon viewing) not that there's anything wrong with those version but who says no to more time in middle earth?!
  3. i was so happy when they announced there would be a fifth season!!!
  4. i'm shocked to see i'm the first to answer your thread, i was asking myself the same question wondering if there was no thread!then again i'm not in usa either....i just watched the first 9 episodes of season 4 back to back , i love this show like mad...i stayed away from watching it during the year because i hate waiting for the next week to know what's going to happen, that plus last summer i watched seasons 2&3 back to backi'm always afraid that fox is going to cancel the show after season 1 so i stopped watching and kept an eye on entertainmnt news articles about shows being cancelled or renewed then last summer i gave in figuring 2 more seasons were story-worthy enoughat the rate i'm going i'll be done with this season before the weekend is over LOL, a show hadnt boggled my mind like this since LOST oh wait same creator duhhh
  5. very happy with snow white and avengers numbers !!!!what do you guys think about snow white getting the go for a sequel?
  6. i also happen to like "10things i hate about you" heath ledger was a cutie in that! by the way whatever happen to the lead actress of she's the man? off to imdb..
  7. i still love it, and watch it whenever i see it on tv if i have nothing else to do or watch, the na'vi have got to be the most beautiful and majestic alien race ever, i always want to get my own na'vi avatar so i can jump and run around like they do etc...
  8. ok i just check his imdb page and i've seen quite a few of his films, she's the man (i liked him in that it was funny), step up ( not the sequels) , dear john, GI.joe, The vow, 21 jump streeti'd call that a steady rise in the actor ladder roaster which casting directors/directors go through when picking their leadsplus he's cute sorta and funny, has a nice personality to go with the not to shabby body LOL
  9. there's nothing wrong with watching that kind of film from time to time, to quote cindy lauper sometimes "girls just wanna have fun"
  10. i can't stand to see leonardo di caprio get kill in a movie(lingering trauma from titanic)!
  11. hey fishnets i was looking for one that i know you'll love ;)i was thinking when aragorn returns and legolas hands him the evenstar necklace and you see that scene through eowyn eyes i just love the play of emotions on her face from happiness to disappointmentand also when she declares herself to him and he tells her he can't return her feelingsto both i yell "burn B burn !!!" but i can' t find them so i'll have to make a video and post it youtubeotherwise i agree with your choices anything arwen and aragorn !!!!of course my fav is when she says she'd rather spent one lifetime with him than eternity aloneagree with widow arwen i get teary at that scene, and when she sees her future with him and kid ,and the score is just gorgeous during them
  12. i love these two from "when harry met sally" , i'm also thinking about LOTR but way too many scenes lemme think...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZluzt3H6tkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMo36SfyQhw
  13. i use to read articles on E!online.com and this blogger would have you believe every actor and actress in hollywood is gay!not that there's anything wrong with one's sexual orientation ,what i don't like is the implied idea that only homosexual people have acting chops, let's not exaggerate either, another word for that is jealousy and envy with great celebrity and fame comes infamous rumours
  14. i do like prenups, they're very neat and don't care about feelings which usually are messy...plus i'm not a fan of a spouse taking half of a person fortune just because they were married together, a good sum a hefty sum YES but half of a life's work uhhh NOPE! nevermind if he cheated or is gay or straight or just a sleezebag!that said i could not be happier at the news! he should try single town LOLi grew up with dawson creek, could never figure out why she left a good guy like chris kline for tom cruise!!!
  15. maybe he's like the dalai lama reincarnation thingy , why else would he be revered unless there was a sign saying he was the new incarnation of that original vamp whateverps: jason is just too funny while being not to bright , oh dear mayeb he'll surprise and stay sex-free this season LOLand the reverend oh boy oh boy , i swear the craziest people are turned into vamps on this show!
  16. episode 3 was fun!!! i have to say i'm liking this new season so far a lot, heck after puke-inducing eric from s4 i'm liking him again!!!!i'm even surprised by the guy playing the guardian from the law and order show ,this must be different for him...poor tara not sure she'll survive the season with that attitude but at same time i'd miss the sheer comedy of her and pam together!!absolutely loving pam background scene, she's that good of an actress all her scenes are gold!by the way how young is bill suppose to be in that flashback 30smtg vamp pup, i mean he got turn near end of civil war?i hope they don't mess terry and arlene! or andy and the wiccan waitress they're both cute in a mess up way!! that's bon temps for y'all folks LOL
  17. i voted PoA but HBP was a close second! book wise i think half blood prince is better than azhkaban!
  18. hmmbrad pitt i think "meet joe black " he was so cute in that but yeah as an actor i first notice his skills in "a river runs through it" heavy drama! alas now brad pitt =Mr and Mrs Smith :)tom cruise =days of thunder/top gunjohn cusack= pushing tin/gross pointe blanche, i enjoyed both so much i bought the dvds!molly ringwald= sixteen candles(awww jake )bill paxton= twister(funny enough checking his imdb its crazy how many films of his i've seen where he was a secondary character lol)will smith = ID4( but he'll always be the fresh prince of bel-air to me)bruce willis = die hardkevin costner= the bodyguard(and iiiiiiii willlll alwayyyyys loveeee youuuuuu!!!)harrison ford= indiana jones( i bought school items with indy on it, it was all the rage at the times)lindsay lohan = the parent trap(cannot wrap my head around that that little girl turned out like that)drew barrymore= ever after/ never been kissed, but of course we all remember her in E.T.jamie lee curtis= true lieskirsten dunst= interview with a vampireheath ledger= ten things i hate about you/joker (2 very different roles as you can get)christian bale= agree about "american psycho"but i'll always remember how cute and innocent he looked in "little women" (really a great actor good films all around)how about joaquin phoenix? i'd go with "walk the line" he was johnny cash!
  19. without thinking THE ABYSS,dude had me crying okapollo 13 would be second , i don't clearly remember truman show but that was a good movie that didnt seem like it would be at first!
  20. when i saw her name trending i felt i knew her, then it turns out she's responsible for 3 movies i love dearly , my favorite"when harry met sally" the dialogue is just so crisp and smart and funny i find it crazy romantic because of how real it feels other favs include "sleepless in seattle" and "you've got mail" that always leave me teary eyed afterwards(i love reading so the film being based in the bookstore world touches me a lot) i also found julie&julia sweet! she was a great screenwriter, very sad to hear someone who had such a love for the written word is no more! here's an article i found reviewing one of her films: http://ollyrichards.net/2012/04/01/when-harry-met-sally-masterpiece-review-empire-april-12/ i'll highlight this passage: . :worthy: its a genre i use to love but now its rare if i see one or two in a year that i actually can get behind and say it was great, they usually leave me feeling like when you've had a fast food meal on the moment you feel like you've eating a lot of food and that you're full but an hour after you're hungry and you don't understand why
  21. because otherwise it would be solely that fast pace high-brow back and forth , unresolved feelings and character driven people slow that down enough to allow us to breath and absorb the ideas that are shooting by us like a meteorite shower!aahhh finally i just spent 15mn trying to remember a word which is logorrhea! i wanted to use it in my answer but i couldnt remember the word, the closest i got was word vomit lol , that's one thing that had me smiling that these people could talk like that tit for tat! impressed but not sure how realistic that is...
  22. ps: the same thing his character said can also be applied to france and other prominent western countries but i'll only speak for my country and its annoying self-righteous lefties and righties politicians, its reach such a point that abstention was at a record high at latest presidential and legislatives elections in france!
  23. i just watched it, hmmm so far so good! that speech at the beginning is something you'll only see on tv, i'd love to see someone say something like that it would be fun! i thought he was having a heart-attack or low blood pressure about to pass out in front of a crowd!the pace was great, did not see the hour pass, that said i'm on the fence this could get boring real fast, a show about the news talking about the news, and convos need to be more personal there was a lot of exposition wow see all those fancy things i know but i get it was the premiere!i like the cast so far, i already hate the ex EP he seems like a douche buh-bye! i like the new guy jack something who wasnt stuck up on protocol, i guess i kind of am curious about how the news gets done, i use to love watching CNN when i had cable , also loved watching nancy grace even though she was kind of the TMZ of CNN!all in all i'll give it a chance , i think what might work for this is the fact its on HBO and its only what 10/12 episodes maybe??? lots of people might be missing having a show like the west wing around
  24. well this is good news, well the part where they say they're actually going to start filming soon LOLesp after he came back in one piece from the trench in the pacific!
