I think this time audiences will agree with the critics.

 

Maybe critics are making dated assumptions. They've said that for his recent movies that ended up underperforming.

LOL I have enjoyed many Chris Columbus movies (c'mon, I saw Home Alone like 12 times in theaters when I was 10), but calling him a legendary filmmaker is Trying It.

 

These reviews are astonishingly scathing but I'm not surprised. This is what happens when you give a high-concept movie with a lot of potential to Adam Sandler: you pretty much send it to die.

hmm woul not be that bad for the harry potter even if i enjoy HP 3 more more but Mr doubfire is really good Williams is the king.

 

But i would agree he is better in screenwritting easily imo. Like the goonies and Grimlins. But it's just my opinion

It's not really a good movie... it's really just one of those early "copy and paste" sequels like GB2... but it has its charms. Tim Curry is just amazing in it.

Didn't some Sony executive express in one of those leaked emails that they are sick and tired of mostly spending money on shitty Adam Sandler movies? LMAO I think that studio/star relationship will finally be kaput if this tanks.
