CoolioD1
Some day there's going to be a $350m film adaptation of the Green Cross Code Man and that flop's gonna be the thing that finally does in the superhero genre.

TMP
Some day there's going to be a $350m film adaptation of the Green Cross Code Man and that flop's gonna be the thing that finally does in the superhero genre. But even if it flops, MCU, DCU and the Spider-Man films will keep chugging on. I think Spider-Man might get another two reboots before he goes to Disney. (And yes, I know Green Cross Code Man's just a PSA character)
Dementeleus
@scottEweinberg From now on let's call all remakes "diet." Hey I actually kinda liked Diet Total Recall. What did you think of Diet Omen? 7/19/13 3:21 PM

Dementeleus
I'm not surprised at all that my favorite studio releases this year are all non-sequels.

baumer
Red 2 is not quite as fun as This is the End but it's close. I enjoyed it from start to finish. All the cast is fantastic and Mary Louise steals the show, in every scene. There is one on going gag and it works every time. I think this is going to have really good legs again.

FWIW, Turbo had a Cinemascore of A+ with the under 18 demographics so it may develop good legs and pass $100 million.
baumer
How could Pac Rim still be in top 5? It'll be lucky to be in top 10.

Derpity
Don't forget Ronin 47 for Universal. It will be an even bigger bomb than RIPD unless it pulls a WWZ but Keanu ain't Brad and Samurais aren't zombies. What is going on with Ronin 47? No trailer yet. It's going to be delayed, I assume.
